Dans l’au-delà, Ryûk, un dieu de la mort abandonne par jeu, sur Terre, son Death Note, le cahier qu’il utilise pour mettre fin à la vie des humains. Light, jeune lycéen surdoué le récupère et en découvre les terribles pouvoirs : quiconque voit son nom écrit dans le Death Note meurt instantanément. Le Destin est en marche ? Avec ce Death Note, Light va entamer un processus d’éradication du Mal et exécuter les criminels du pays. Débute alors un jeu macabre entre Light et L, un mystérieux enquêteur de génie engagé par les autorités. Light perdra-t-il de vue son noble but ? Ou sa vie ? (ADN)

Death Note (2006) 

anglais A fascinating journey into the world of relentless battles, where only the chosen resort to firearms. Every written name on a small piece of paper can mean a crucial turning point, and anarchy closely touches absolutism. Death Note, however, captivates mainly with its tangible atmosphere of fear of Kira and the related respect from both main opponents. But it is precisely their genius that is the only obstacle. Keeping track of the number of notebooks, Shinigami, Kiras, or well-thought-out long-term plans is sometimes truly exhausting, and I have occasionally found myself helplessly waiting for an explanation. Otherwise, this polished thriller is a unique anime, after which the notebooks in black covers will never be the same. ()
