A now largely neglected adaptation of the original play "The White Horse Inn" (1896) by Oskar Blumenthal and Gustav Kadelburg. Its original popularity was eclipsed by Ralph Benatzky's modern operetta and the musical films that followed it, which have been in constant demand since the 1930s. In this version, we meet the notorious original story, which, even without the hits, provides a cute encounter in an inn on the banks of the Wolfgangssee. Starring Liane Haid and Max Hansen.
