anglais When I saw My Sassy Girl as my first Asian romance a few years ago, I told myself that such a pleasant film would become unforgettable if some incomprehensible motives were suppressed. The wish fulfilled, the emotion intensified, with my beloved queen Elisha in the leading role and a melancholy soundtrack that fits perfectly. It's as if I haven't left the tree yet and I'm still reading both letters. And I sincerely regret that the local admiration for Asian classics and the automatic shooting down of their remakes prevent Jordan and Charlie from getting the deserved extra percentages. ()

anglais I often wonder with South Korean films how they might have done it in the USA. So here's my answer. After watching the original, I of course found this awkward in places. In truth, though, I was expecting something much more dreadful. The main characters aren't that awful or corny. Elisha is actually quite good for the role. The script has been altered to make it more acceptable to America. This, of course, took away much of the charm. I believe that for a viewer unfamiliar with the original, My Sassy Girl can be a nice romantic comedy. ()
