anglais In their time, the Brothers Loové were an extraordinary achievement in the field of animated film and showed the possibilities of the emerging Soviet animation school. The film succeeded not only with interesting animation, but especially with its story and exotic setting of the Far East. The Soviets never mastered the art of promotion and commerce, so awareness of often exceptional animated films compared to average Disney grotesques never spread, and this film fell into oblivion. Nowadays, in connection with the rapid development of feature-length animated films, it is somewhat outdated in terms of animation and script refinement, but it is still a highly above-average matter. Overall impression 80%. ()
