The American-Swedish film The Night Visitor is a beautiful example of psychological horror, which also overlaps with the revenge genre with its violence, although don't expect this to be an explicit spectacle. My enthusiasm for this half-forgotten treasure is only disturbed by the ending, which in my opinion was not successful and should have simply been different. The laughter at the end was not supposed to be the laughter of a madman, but the laughter of a winner.
