(Gaumont)

I finally got around to watching Operation Corned Beef and it turned out to be a nostalgic blast. Jean Reno and Christian Clavier are in top form, delivering a performance full of craziness and fun. Definitely worth the wait! ()
Two amazing actors in a likeable spy comedy that, with its imaginative humour, can easily beat the vast majority of similar American extravaganzas. It radiates so much liveliness and vigour throughout that you can easily forgive the bland ending, which, on the contrary, missed the effect with its frenzy... 80% ()
Maybe it was the mood of the moment, maybe (more likely) not, but I actually almost didn't like this film at all. If it weren't for Jean Reno, who made a few moments slightly funny, it would have been a complete failure. Yes, I know that all the awkwardness, exaggeration, clamor and frenzy was meant to be funny... But it wasn't. ()
