anglais Someone recommended Failure to Launch to me and as I was looking for some chillout time on a Friday evening, I wanted to try something undemanding with actors I usually like. There are surprisingly a lot of them here for one movie. Unfortunately, I was looking forward to the chillout time, which didn’t happen. Or rather, I should say that it was too much of a chillout, because there was many a moment where I almost fell asleep. Which is sad, because with this cast I should have been laughing out loud and not be lulled to sleep, which unfortunately didn’t happen. So I must confirm the bad rating on this site and I hope that something else will surprise me pleasantly. ()

anglais Failure to Launch, for all its naïveté, is one of my favorite movies. I considered the combination of Sarah J. Parker and Matthew McConaughey to be beyond well matched. The script one big, but nice, cliché. But the biggest star for me was definitely Zooey Deschanel and her bird. It was a good chill-out movie that I definitely wasn't bored with. ()

anglais I don't really like Sarah Jessica Parker, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well she managed in this film. Actually, she's quite enjoyable. Matthew McConaughey is a good actor and he is well-suited for comedies. Overall, this romantic comedy turned out quite well, which surprised me because I wasn't expecting it. I ended up having a good time with the comedy, even though it's very similar to another one that I didn't really like. However, it is a fact that I disliked "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" because of Kate Hudson, whom I really don't like and I think she is one of the worst actresses Hollywood has given us. Although it is true that she doesn't really have to try in similar movies. Sarah Jessica Parker also didn't have to try much, but because she didn't play a mom from a family, I believed her role. The similarity to the film "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" is mainly in the fact that it revolves around a fairly original idea. In "10 days," it was writing an article about how to lose a guy, in this case, it's hiring a woman to make a young man finally move out from his parents' house. Matthew McConaughey's film mother is played by Kathy Bates, and other supporting roles are very well-cast. Bradley Cooper also appears here, before he became a star in leading roles himself. A pleasant comedy where not even the main heroine could deter me. And if you can overlook the animal jokes, you will be quite entertained.
