The young man, born to a well-to-do provincial family, is in the last year at the Law University. He promises to his father not to court any young lady before he successfully takes all his final exams. However, destiny has the final word. He meets Judit at the railway station in Pest, where she is seeing her aunt off. It is love at first sight for the young man. To show his emotions, he does not hesitate to kiss the girl, who reacts by slapping him on the face, although she has not been unaffected by the meeting. They say an angry good-bye to each other. After a while, they try to find each other, which seems hopeless as they know nothing of each other. Destiny, however, again has the final word. (texte officiel du distributeur)
