anglais A brilliant crime drama with a top-tier cast. It captivates, delights, and does not let its viewer get bored for even a moment. Käthe Haack is one of the best female comedians with an irresistible sex appeal, and you can't tear your eyes away from Hilde Hildebrand. Theo Lingen - and last but not least Wolf Albach-Retty - are also absolutely irresistible. Love Must Be Understood has wit, and pizzazz, ingeniously develops great gags, and tactfully benefits from the spicy feel of the first half of the 1930s, which was inherent to German production in that decade, as well as in the years before and after. Fans of the Czech cinematic miracle of the 1930s will also appreciate a certain preview of the film The Doll (1938). ()
