At the beginning of his filmmaking career, David Cronenberg proved to be a distinctive personality endowed with original creative vision. Stereo is his feature-length documentary-style debut, which presents the findings of an observation of volunteers with telepathic powers they had been applied in a medical experiment. What attracts the attention is the film's sparing but captivating visual aspect. (Summer Film School)

anglais Honestly, I admire this film mainly because of its form. Although it is one of Cronenberg's early works, you feel like it was directed by someone who had a clear vision. Yes, it is intimate, but at the same time, it is clearly stylized and professionally executed. Cronenberg did not hesitate. And I have no doubt that even after years, this piece of work can still resonate. ()
