Campbell is Vera, a spoiled Manhattanite who is dating Ford (Frederick Weller), a shady hustler. It becomes quite clear, however, that Vera is no monogamist, as she flirts with every cute guy that she passes, and also keeps a female lover on the side. When Ford is confronted by Italian billionaire Count Tommaso (Dominic Chianese) and offered $100,000 to spend time with Vera, the cunning vamp takes over and both men learn a very painful lesson about messing with a modern female.
