Even though the American production Swamp Thing has a pretty straightforward narrative and feels like a B-movie featuring a popular comic book character, it really appealed to me. It is very simple and I liked that. Plus, there is one more trump card in the form of Adrienne Barbeau. I was compelled and glued to the screen and not only because she was naked. She has something about her that I thoroughly enjoyed watching and it is Barbeau who attracts viewers with her performance rather than the monster.
