Director General Kollár proposes to Várkonyi Zsuzsa, president of Várkonyi Textile Works, a nice-looking young woman. Kollár is a middle-aged man, whom Zsuzsa does not want to offend by refusing his offer point-blank, therefore she says that she is already in love with someone else. When repeatedly asked who the man is, Zsuzsa, embarrassed, mentions the name of Török István, a young and unemployed engineer, whom she had met during an excursion. Kollár gets the young man a job in the factory. Although in love with Török, a young inventor, the young president goes out of her way to remove him from his position. Török finally heads for Siófok to sell his new invention to an American textile manufacturer. The young woman desperately goes in search of Török telling him, while they go for a bathe in the waters of Balaton, that she is in love with him. (texte officiel du distributeur)
