Heidi Fleiss: Hollywood Madam

At her arrest two years ago Heidi Fleiss became known world-wide as the Hollywood madam. She was 27 years old at the time, but she had been running a call-girl organisation for many years, which especially the well-to-do inhabitants of Beverly Hills and Hollywood gratefully availed themselves of. Dispatching girls to Paris or the Greek islands, nothing was a problem as long as people paid enough. Even the most extravagant things were possible, ten-thousand-dollar sex-sessions were no exception. Recently it became known that Fleiss is facing eight years in prison. Two lengthy trials preceded the verdict, accusing her of tax evasion, laundering money and conspiracy, to name only a few. In these cases the rich and famous were called as witnesses.
