Red kangaroos are handsome, heroic and strong – amongst the finest of all animal athletes. They need to be – the vast Australian Outback is one of the most inhospitable places on Earth. Following a mother roo and her youngster over a year, this film reveals the dramatic highs and lows of their lives. They have to battle against the odds in an incredibly harsh but beautiful land.
