Résumés(1)

Tony Aaron est un ex-policier en disgrâce qui tente de survivre comme détective privé. Il s'occupe surtout de cas de divorce. Lorsqu'une affaire au demeurant banale tourne mal, et conduit au meurtre d'un client d'Aaron et de sa propre femme ; il est bien sur soupçonné de meurtre. Avec l'aide des amis qui lui sont restés fidèle, il va tenter de prouver son innocence et son enquête va le mener sur la piste de la maîtresse de son client assassiné, la belle et mystérieuse Angeline (Laura San Giacomo). Or il se trouve que la mort de son amant lui a bien profité. Elle est le suspect le plus évident, et comme Aaron se rapproche d'elle il va lui falloir défendre sa vie et son nom.
