In the movie "Flesh for the Beast," it is very apparent that it was filmed for fun, that a group of people simply wanted to fulfill a small dream. The scenes are simplified, the cuts are such that there are no too complicated trick shots of more demanding sequences, but as a whole, it works well. Skill is evident here. The same cannot be said for storytelling skill, which is somewhat static. The film lacks the right dynamics, but it simply goes along at a leisurely pace. It's a shame about the horror moments that simply aren't scary.
