anglais Excellent performances by Ralph Fiennes and Susan Sarandon are clearly the highlight of this film, which shows how it is possible to love someone without expecting anything in return, or alternatively to play games with someone for a long time and then briefly reap the rewards of one's actions. It is perhaps possible to interpret the character of Lafferty in both ways, but the final scene with him speaks quite clearly. ()
