anglais This ideological spy film, whose shallow conception of ideology, lousy script and chaotic filming were criticized by the press of the time, led by Rudé právo, must be a laughing stock today. And in terms of plot it mostly really is. The only exceptions are those situations that are infuriating (mocking the Číhošť miracle, the engine driver who fulfilled an obligation, the STB, for whom the better people are not enemies). So, although Expres z Norimberka offers some nice noir shots, has quite a bit of pace and features Vačkář's excellent music, it's a below-average spectacle. ()
