Coeur de slush

Naive Billie, who says she is behind the other girls, falls in love with cyclist Pierre. But that wouldn't be enough if her sister Annette didn't also fall in love with him. But I wouldn't call it a love triangle. The summer season, full of rich colours and water fun, is one of the few things to enjoy in this picture. The characters are likeable, but silly and template-ly. The opposite is true to life, with realistic depictions of coming-of-age situations and boomer's inappropriate remarks. The soundtrack is simply rockin' and would have been a future hit of the coming summer. Teenagers seem to like the film and the double applause at the last screening at the Zlín festival is proof of that. [Zlín Film Festival 2023] (06/06/2023)
