Sure, it's not as intense as The Revenant, but on the other hand, it has an interesting atmosphere for me, and it has very good, powerful scenes that leave an impression on you. One of them is the bear attack, which surprised me in terms of how well it was captured, without any digital effects, which was impossible in its time.
