anglais "Where you born at?" - "Poland." - "Is that near Pittsburgh?" - "No, that's near Czechoslovakia." - "Oh, ok..." A terribly long and unfunny attempt at a western buddy movie, the script of which is very poor. Gene Wilder excellently alternating comedic and more serious positions and the young handsome Harrison Ford do their best, but it is hardly enough. Among other things, I was struck by the shoddy and cheap-looking production design (perhaps only the Jewish-western music had something to it) and, with a few exceptions, Aldrich's rather routine, ordinary direction.
