anglais Today I decided to check out Neal Brennan's special from two years ago and it was quite the ride. Brennan had me laughing out loud, especially with bits like the anniversary shootout between the NRA and the US Army. But then, there were moments when the humor took a backseat. The mood shifted, the atmosphere grew heavy, and I realized that Bill Burr isn't the only comedian with a less-than-ideal childhood. Listening to Brennan, along with Burr and Taylor Tomlinson, talk about their childhood, it dawned on me that comedians are often more damaged than we might think. Stand-up seems to serve as a sort of therapy for them, and without their troubled pasts, they might not have the ability to make people laugh the way they do. / Lesson learned: Keith is probably going to be Keith is likely to be a bit of a grump.
