Cherry Bone

This autobiographical animated documentary follows a Jewish immigrant who came to Germany as a child in the mid-1990s. Without knowledge of the language and local culture, she struggled to adjust to her surroundings. The film describes the experience of an individual's encounter with a new language, culture, art and self-perception through the metaphor of confusing two words. (Finále Plzeň)
