Bill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill

Talk about a disappointment. I was drawn in by two names from my top three favorite stand-up comedians list, but it became apparent pretty swiftly that I was mistaken. It's not that some performances didn't make me laugh, but far too often I found myself grappling with an unrelenting sense of cringiness, leading me to hit the fast-forward button in one instance. I took a similar approach during the final musical number. Not an enjoyable experience. / Lesson learned: In this case, the saying that all that glitters isn't gold certainly applies. (22/02/2024)
