The film gives its critics huge space for corrosively ironic and passionately categorical judgments against it. It is a commercial article designed to appeal to teenage girls. It is a stereotypical superficial affair, where even life lessons, which the protagonist gradually learns, seem trivial and fake. I am not the target audience, but I will leave the venomous quips to more qualified individuals. It is far from garbage, not only because of the presence of the talented Lindsay Lohan and the (at a minimum) charming Megan Fox. But also because the film avoids embarrassing sexual innuendos, basement humor, and cheap vulgarity. Despite all its flaws, there is a certain level of professionalism to it. We all know how Lindsay dealt with her talent. What comes around goes around. If nothing else, the film is a sad reminder of the wasted potential of a girl who had a chance to conquer the entertainment industry. Overall impression: 25%. ()
