He was a journalist in search of the truth! In 1970s Nicaragua, under the Somoza regime Texas journalist Jack Cox (Jan-Michael Vincent) arrives in Managua on assignment to see his old friend General Somoza (Lloyd Batista). While in town he also meets Maria Cardena (Julie Carmen), a member of a prominent family close to Somoza. Unknown to Cox, Maria is a member of the Sandinista movement who participates in raids against her government. When the two become romantically involved, he asks her to take him to the rebel camp so he can file his report including both sides of the story. (Code Red)
