In this thriller from Spain, Paloma (Ana Fernandez) is a psychiatrist at a mental hospital who has begun working with a patient named Mario (Miguel Angel Sola). Mario suffers from Korsakov Syndrome, a combination of short and long term memory loss that's made it impossible for him to recall anything that happened to him before 1977. Paloma finds herself drawn to Mario as she struggles with him to regain his past. However, when several men with guns arrive at the hospital one day looking for Mario, she realizes that the life he can't recall may have been darker and more dangerous than she imagined.
