Even the fact that I quite liked the new opening could not make up for the fact that this anime series has lost any spark for good. In my opinion, the initial hype and originality with fascinating punchlines are gone. With the previous season, the anime’s creators were still spasmodically trying; with this season, they appear to have already given up, trying to draw on the audience’s sense of nostalgia. Plus, the jokes have almost no energy anymore. I am finishing with the fifth series and with a rating just on the edge of slightly below average, not wanting to spoil the positive impression I still had with the third series. 4.5/10.
