What is it in the human spirit that makes some of us crave unimaginable, risky adventures? Exposure takes us on a journey with a European-Arabian team of 13 women who spend two years preparing for a skiing trek to the North Pole, the first all-female team to do so. This awe-inspiring film is the fly-on-the- wall of their rigorous training, the diversity in their personal lives, the struggles of the expedition itself, and the unknowing of whether they will succeed. From their training in Iceland on snow and ice, to Oman through 100 degree heat and deep sand, it is a nail biter with huge heart as they face unbelievable risks created by climate change and shifting ice, putting their lives in danger. “Let’s go into the madness,” one of them declares. And so they do. And because of this equally brave filmmaker, we get to experience it all. Be sure to stay for the credits! (Woodstock Film Festival)
