It’s summer, the breeding season of the Fan Throated Lizard. The males run around, climb high places and flash their colourful fans to claim their territory and impress the females in the vicinity. They get desperate to attract the females and do not tolerate the presence of any other males in their territory. They would do anything to prove their supremacy, even fight with the intruding males. The males can fight to the death, if that’s what it takes to emerge victorious. (Ekofilm)
