Chuck Barrett is a police detective with two things on his mind. One is his girlfriend, the other is a string of mysterious killings. A young actress found dead in her bathtub is the first to die. Then a beautiful dancer is murdered on-stage during a rehearsal. The victims share one bit of personal history: they all testified against Roger Sand. But Sand is behind bars at the Institute for the Criminally Insane. How did his fingerprints turn up at the murder scene?
