Jill Garrett (Michele Lee) is a young, unmarried interior designer who is fed up with dating. Disappointed time and again in her relationships with bachelors, Jill decides to find happiness by doing the unthinkable - dating married men. In a humorous twist, David Andrews (David Birney), a handsome playboy, poses as a married man and goes so far as to "borrow" his married law partner's (Dom DeLuise) family to lend some credence to his lie. David only pretends to be married in order to avoid long-term commitments with women.
