Doctor Kondacs, a thirty five-year-old man of success, heading to his own wedding on the 15th of March, passes the Batthyány-sanctuary lamp. Of sheer pity he covers a naked insane girl who appears there with his coat. From this time on his life takes a different turn: the wedding ceremony is cancelled, his fiancée breaks up with him, he becomes politically suspicious, will be fired from his job. When suddenly everything would turn for the good again and he would be rehabilitated, he decides not to take it, but to exit from society together with his love, that is: naked, leaving everything behind they enter a mental asylum.
