Cyrus Frisch made a morally indigestible film in which the devil orders him to cross all ethical boundaries and wreck his protagonists. The director shamelessly exploits the suffering of a group of social outcasts. Among them, alcoholic and whore-hopper Nico and Peter, who suffers from a rare disease. In provocative ways, the 'actors' are manipulated. Is the viewer an innocent voyeur and the filmmaker an amoral thrill seeker, or is the viewer a passive accomplice? (Nederlands Film Festival)
