Hungary after the changes. Jutka loses her job and even her marriage is ruined, since her husband gets involved with the daughter of an influential businessman. Jutka moves in with a female friend, Dóra likewise has to face a difficult choice. Her lover, a politician, is not willing to divorce. Jutka gets employed at a restaurant. Soon, she finds herself in the middle of the fight of the Mafia struggling for the catering trade, but she sticks to her boss. In the meantime, Dóra breaks with Ádám and Feri drops his girlfriend as well. He wants to go back to his wife, but she refuses him. In a new flat, with the money she received form her boss for her faithfulness, she starts a new life all by herself. (texte officiel du distributeur)
