Higher Learning

An unknown and quite uninteresting film about racial problems at a prominent high school, where else but in the USA. The performances are not bad (Omar Epps, Ice Cube), but the plot is often quite unexciting and drags on like a corporate meeting. The ending has some twists, but there is no significant soul-searching or critique of society. A film oscillates between a classic teen story and racial selection, an average mix of everything.
