During the first post-war years, Henri Storck devoted himself especially to the art film. In 1946, he made Le Monde de Paul Delvaux. This documentary is an exploratory expedition through the surrealist world of Paul Delvaux. Concentrating on a number of significant paintings by this artist, Storck makes the style and atmosphere of Delvaux's art more accesible, in cooperation with the composer André Souris and the poet Paul Eluard.
