Depuis toujours fasciné par les armes à feu, Bart Tare a tente de devaliser une armurerie à l'age de sept ans. Un séjour prolongé en maison de redressement puis la guerre l'on éloigne de sa famille. A son retour, il rencontre dans une fȇte foraine Annie Laurie Starr, une tireuse d'élite vedette d'un show western. Tombant amoureux d'elle, il la suit dans sa tournée. If it were filmed in today's time, it might be even better in the sense that it would be more intense, which wouldn't bother the movie at all. On the other hand, it is sometimes quite intense even for its time, which should be credited to its advantage. In addition, the lead actress is simply mesmerizing, both in her acting and in her appearance. It's a film that is clear from the start that it cannot end well. It's just a pity that there are too many variations on Bonnie and Clyde.

Penn's take on Bonnie and Clyde is looked down on, but otherwise it's a quality noir that would make hirnlego very happy, because the woman is the origin of all evil: o) What sets this likeable low-budget piece apart from the work of the time are the innovative elements used – in particular, the camera view from the backseat of a car, capturing the bank robberies live, absolutely blew me away, a previously unused idea that will do your taste buds good.
