Pureza

After six months without news of her son who has gone to look for work, Pureza decides to go look for him in the Brazilian Amazon. In her determined search, she discovers a system of deception and imprisonment of rural workers, who are being treated as slaves by unscrupulous farmers. Purity gets a job on a farm where she witnesses the brutal treatment of workers and the destruction of the forest. They abuse this labor force to deforest the region, without worrying about the authorities. (Festival de Cine de Todos Santos y La Paz)
