Only few can say that they have seen wild horses in the nature. The real wild horses now live only in Mongolia and carry the name Przewalski's horses. About 50 years ago they completely disappeared from Mongolia and the last individuals of this species remained bred in zoological gardens. Thanks to the reintroduction programs people have managed to return the horses back to their homeland. The documentary "On the Wings of Wild Horses" by filmmaker Michal Gálik tells a story about Lenka, the breeder of the horses, and the difficult transportation of wild horses from Czech Republic to the Gobi B semi-desert in Mongolia organized by the Prague Zoo.
