5 September 1972, the tenth day of the Munich Olympics. The Palestinian terrorist group Black September storms the Israeli athletes’ quarters. The world watches live on television as eleven hostages are taken and later killed. The Munich massacre. For the first time, this story will be told through the eyes of four women directly affected by that day. Ankie Spitzer, the widow of a murdered fencing master, finds solace in her fight for recognition so the world will never forget. Esther Roth Shahamorov, an Olympic sprinter, loses her dream when her coach is killed. Sylvia Raphael, a Mossad agent, joins a mission to track down the terrorists but ends up in prison. Marianne Gladnikoff, another Mossad agent, goes on a mission to assassinate a terrorist and never recovers. A story of intrigue and secret identities, love and death, conflict and reconciliation, war and peace. A riveting documentary about the day that changed the world. (Warsaw Film Festival)
