The chilling first season was much better than the second, where the atmosphere mysteriously disappeared, which originally was certainly not solely created by the mysterious Icelandic landscape hidden under the weight of snow. The plot of the second season is very complicated, and at least until the middle, I had no idea what was going on. I'm not too thrilled with the final denouement either, but since I've seen much worse series, I consider this sequel slightly above average.
