Beautiful romance portrayed by two great actors and one excellent director. There are great shots, especially from the docks. The camera captures the places and their atmosphere perfectly, but overall I can't help but feel that the film is not so groundbreaking in terms of filmmaking, rather it is a solidly executed work that can be enjoyed even after ninety years.
