Sins of the Father (S03E04)

As a journalist assigned to interview Luther Hill, a 16-year-old gang member on death row, Monica must try and make him see that, although it's too late to change the course of his life, he can make a difference in the lives of his younger brother and his mother, Valerie (Debbie Allen), whom he will leave behind. During her prison visits, Monica also comes in contact with Willis (Carl Lumbly), a fellow death row prisoner who realizes he has much more in common with Luther than their fate and history of violence.
