Karin's Face

Leading off with images of the strong face of Ingmar Bergman's mother Karin, née Åkerblom, born on 4 November 1889, the short film shows family photographs from old albums over a period of several decades: Karin as a young girl, as a young woman at her betrothal, with her husband Erik, Pastor Erik Bergman at the pulpit, mother Karin with little Ingmar and his siblings, in the country manor house in Dalarna, and finally Karin Bergman in old age.
