This is a Czech-Polish fairy-tale fantasy from a similarly uptight medieval period as The Last One Will Fall to Hell. The film stars the hawk nation, the active Jiří Pomeje, and Markéta Hrubešová surrounded by pastoral lyricism. A strange mix, but functional nonetheless. However, having Eugeniusz Kujawski play a double role was not the best choice.
