Wrestling Competition

The subject matter of this sports film is wrestling. The storyline follows a familiar arc in that the main character overcomes obstacles and poor circumstances to arrive at the top of their game. However, the fact that the setting is India and the wrestler is female is what sets this film apart. Wrestling fanatic Mahavir wants to have a son and wants that son to be a wrestler. However, when he has three daughters in a row his frustration is beyond words. One day, his first and second daughters beat up a boy. Eureka! Mahavir gets his daughters to receive intensive training.
