Pete Holmes, who recently celebrated the birth of his first child Lila, returns to HBO with his second stand-up special for the network. Titled "Dirty Clean," the special – taped in November 2018 at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, Oregon – features Holmes confronting personal truths about the mechanisms of consciousness, Michael Jackson, the afterlife and Elon Musk, as well as sharing a few thoughts on being a new dad. Marcus Raboy, who directed Holmes's debut HBO special "Faces and Sounds" in 2016, returns to direct "Dirty Clean." Pete Holmes is co-creator and star of the critically acclaimed HBO comedy series "Crashing," which draws on his own experiences as a comedian, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the world of stand-up comedy in New York City.
