Mariam and Franco are the typical couple formed by the pretty sixth graders. All of the boys dream of being Mariam’s boyfriend and all the girls of being Franco’s girlfriend. Yamila and Sebastian aren’t talking anymore, but the problem wasn’t their big age difference, but rather the kiss that is forbidden to them: Sebastian won’t kiss her because her last boyfriend was his best friend, and the kiss would hurt him. Mili feels a deep and unrequited love for Potongo: she has sent him more than ten letters, through a go-between, but has never received an answer. Three couples experiencing the adventures and misadventures of liking someone for the first time. The characters speaks to us of friendships, jealousies, boyfriend and girlfriends, and friends who are somewhere in-between; about the forms that their age has of feeling and understanding, or not understanding, this thing we call love.
